We are a Vancouver-based French bakery committed to producing high-quality artisan bread rooted in traditional techniques, long fermentation, and careful craftsmanship. From the beginning, our focus has been simple: make bread with integrity, make it consistently, and create real value for both everyday customers and the partners who serve them.
While our methods remain traditional, our business is built for today’s market. Olivier’s La Boulangerie serves both individual customers and wholesale partners across British Columbia, delivering bread that meets the demand for quality, consistency, and authenticity at scale. Whether found on grocery shelves, in retail spaces, or within food-service offerings, our goal remains the same: to create bread people trust and return to.
Our Cafés
Olivier’s is both a working bakery and a collection of welcoming cafés. From our original Coquitlam location to the Fraserhood and now most recently in downtown on Hornby Street, we bake fresh daily and serve our breads, pastries, and coffee in spaces designed for community, conversation, and connection.
Our Bread
Bread is alive and real bread helps you to be the same! At Olivier's Breads, all our creations are allowed to come to life naturally with the 'Long-Fermentation Process' which has been used in Europe for centuries. We call that Slow Crafted. Our master bakers are from France and refuse to compromise on the artistry of our breads and pastries.
